The Origin Story behind Colorado Coffee

Colorado Coffee was founded in 2023 by Paulo and Miranda Colorado, born from a shared love for coffee and adventure — and a deep desire to give back to the communities where coffee is grown.

A dream born in Colombia

Paulo was born in Andes, Antioquia, a coffee-producing region in Colombia. His fondest childhood memories include weekends spent exploring the mountains surrounding the Colorado family coffee farm. He grew up seeing firsthand how hard farmers work to cultivate coffee and how little financial reward they often receive for their efforts.

Now fuelling adventure all around Australia

Paulo immigrated to Australia in 2014, and since then it has been his dream to share flavour from his place of origin with coffee lovers here in Australia. In 2023 instead of opening a brick and mortar cafe, Paulo and Miranda decided to take the rebel path and invest in their dream off-grid mobile set up.

For two and a half years they travelled Australia in their custom-built LandCruiser 79 bringing specialty coffee to truly remote places. Now based on the Sunshine Coast, they continue to serve the adventure sporting and 4WD community and build a life around sharing flavour and time in nature.
