The Origin Story behind Colorado Coffee
Colorado Coffee was founded in 2023 by Paulo and Miranda Colorado, born from a shared love for coffee and adventure - and a deep desire to give back to the communities where coffee is grown.
Born in Colombia
Paulo was born in Andes, Antioquia, a coffee-producing region in Colombia. His best childhood memories include weekends spent exploring the mountains surrounding the Colorado family coffee farm.
He grew up seeing firsthand how difficult it is cultivate coffee and how little financial reward farmers often receive for their efforts.
We've brewed all around Australia
Paulo immigrated to Australia in 2014, and since then it has been his dream to share flavour from his place of origin with coffee lovers here in Australia. For more than eight years he worked in cafes, builing his craft as a barista.
In 2023 instead of opening a brick and mortar cafe, Paulo and Miranda decided to invest in their dream off-grid mobile set up and set off on the adventure of a lifetime. For two and a half years they travelled full-time in their custom-built LandCruiser 79 bringing specialty coffee to regional and remote Australia.
Serving the adventure community
Now based on the Sunshine Coast, Paulo and Miranda continue to serve the adventure sporting and 4WD community, serving at events and selling their quality products online. They continue to build their lives (and brand) around sharing quality flavour and time in nature.

Connection to origin
We feel a deep connection to origin because it's our place of origin. We honour and give back to coffee farmers and places where coffee is grown.
Simplicity
We believe less is more and prefer to focus on doing fewer things extremely well. We advocate for a simple life and spending time in nature.

Our attitude is one of “todo o nada” - which is to say, do it well or don’t do it at all. We prize quality over quantity and promise a consistently excellent product.
